al dente penne tossed in creamy tomato sauce with freshly-cooked shrimps! delicioso!

Ingredients

250 grams Penne pasta
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Garlic, minced
3 tbsp Onions, chopped
300 grams Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups Tomatoes, crushed or diced
1 1/2 cups Alaska Créma All-Purpose Cream 250mL Buy now
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/4 bundle Fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces
1/2 cup Kesong puti, cubed

Procedure

Tick the circle to once you're done with the procedure.

Cook penne pasta according to package directions.
while pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. in a saucepan, sauté garlic and chopped onions in butter.
add in peeled shrimps and cook until shrimp changes in color. set shrimp aside.
add in crushed or diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly reduced.
add in alaska créma all-purpose cream. season to taste with salt and pepper.
drain pasta and immediately toss into the sauce, adding some of the water used to cook the pasta to dilute the mixture. cook for 2 minutes then add in fresh basil leaves and kesong puti.
