About this recipe

smothered in toppings and baked to perfection—this is not your ordinary nacho dish!

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups Nacho chips or taco shells, crushed
1 cup Tomato sauce
1/3 cup Bottled salsa
2 cups Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 360mL Buy now
1/2 cup Sour cream
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
pc 3 large eggs + 2 large eggwhites, beaten
1/2 tsp Ground cumin
1/4 cup Red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup Tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup Olives, sliced
1 can Corn kernels, drained
1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped

Procedure

lightly oil an oven-proof glass or ceramic dish.
arrange crushed nacho chips or taco shells at the bottom and top with tomato sauce and salsa.
in another bowl combine alaska classic evaporated filled milk, sour cream, shredded cheese, beaten eggs, and ground cumin.
Pour mixture over nacho chips. Cover and store in the fridge overnight.
the next day, bring out the casserole from the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes.
preheat oven to 375f. top strata with chopped red onions, tomatoes, black olives, and corn kernels.
bake or steam until golden and puffy, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
cool and top with chopped cilantro before serving.
