1. pre-heat oven to 180ºf. line a 6 inch round baking pan and a 7 inch square pan, or if you have a 9 inch heart shaped pan, better.
2. in a mixing bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. in another bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients. pour in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until smooth and combined. pour in the baking pans and bake for 15-20 minutes for smaller pans or 25-30 minutes for the bigger pan. cake is done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean. set aside cake in a rack to cool.
3. using an electric mixer, whisk together butter and icing sugar using low speed. gradually add in the cream cheese and continue whisking using medium speed. add in alaska créma-asada and whip until well combined.

1. How to assemble: For the round and square pan, slice the round cake in half moons and attach to the sides of the square cake to form a heart. Spread or pipe the icing depending on your desired look. For the heart cake, slice the cake into 2 layers. Apply frosting between the two layers and frost the rest of the sides. Chill before serving.
