Paella is a home to a lot of essential vitamins and minerals that are important for your health. If paella is made with seafoods, it would contain a high concentration of vitamins like Vitamin A, Omega 3 and fatty acids etc. It would also include minerals like Zinc, Selenium and iron.

Ingredients

Paella

1 cup Alaska Créma All-Purpose Cream 250mL Buy now
2 tbsp Cooking oil
2 tbsp Butter
1/4 cup Onion, chopped
1 pc Garlic, minced
5 pcs Chicken legs
1 cup Chorizo, sliced
2 tbsp Saffron
1 1/2 pcs Chicken broth cube
2 cups Jasmine rice
2 1/2 cups Water
1/2 pc Lemon, squeezed
1/2 cup Canned diced tomato
1/2 cup Green peas
250 g Shrimp
1 pc Lemon, sliced into wedges

Paella Sauce

1 pack Alaska Créma All-Purpose Cream 250ml Buy now
1/4 cup Butter melted
1 pc Lemon, squeezed
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

Tick the circle to once you're done with the procedure.

Pre-heat your oven to 200ºC.
to make the butter sauce: in a pot, combine all ingredients then cook over medium heat stirring constantly. let it simmer for 5 minutes then set aside.
in a skillet or paellera, heat oil and butter. sauté onion and garlic.
Add chicken legs and chorizo, cook for 5 minutes.
add rice, saffron and chicken broth cube, cook for 2 minutes.
pour in water and juice of half a lemon, simmer for 5 minutes.
add alaska créma all-purpose cream, canned diced tomato and green peas. season with salt and pepper.
Arrange the shrimps on top then cover pan or paellera with foil. Let it cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until rice is soft.
to serve, arrange lemon wedges on top then drizzle with the creamy lemon butter sauce.
