Ingredients

Base

3 cans Alaska Condensada 300ml
3 cans Alaska Evaporada 370ml
6 liters cold water

Flavored Ingredients

1 pack Dried Black Sago (Tapioca Pearls)
1 kg brown sugar
2 cups water
2 packs Unflavored Clear Jelly Powder
as needed tube ice

Procedure

prepare jelly / gulaman according to package instructions. cut into small cubes once it has set.
prepare black pearls according to package instructions. let cool once it is fully cooked.
in a pot, combine 2 cups of water and a kilo of brown sugar. stir to dissolve and boil for 15-20 minutes or until thick. keep on stirring to prevent from burning. once thick, remove from heat and let it cool. place the resulting reduction (arnibal) in a squeeze bottle.
in a samalamig container, combine cold water, black sago, clear jelly, alaska condensada and alaska evaporada.
Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
using transparent/clear cups, smear the sides of the cup/glass with the brown sugar reduction. pour in ice and samalamig with pearls.
