This Suam na Mais brings back all the childhood memories especially with mom's secret ingredient - Alaska Classic Evap.

Prepare the following

Ingredients

2 tsp Oil
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 pc Onion, sliced
2 pcs Native tomato, sliced for sautéing
1/2 cup Shrimp, sliced in bite sized pieces
1 can Corn kernels 432g can (corn and brine)
2 tbsp Fish sauce
1 can Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 360mL Buy now
1 cup Chili leaves or spinach leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

Tick the circle to once you're done with the procedure.

in a soup pot, heat oil and sauté garlic, onions and tomatoes. once cooked and softened, add in the shrimp. cook until light pink. add in the corn kernels and its brine and cook for about 5 minutes.
season with fish sauce. lower the heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. add in the alaska classic evaporated filled milk and season with salt and pepper. mix the soup one last time, then turn off the heat. serve steaming hot.
