Ingredients

1/2 bar Butter, unsalted, room temperature
1 can Alaska Classic Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk 377g (290ml) Buy now
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 pc Medium-sized egg
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
250 grams Chocolate chips

Procedure

Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.
in a mixing bowl, whisk together softened butter and alaska classic sweetened condensed filled milk. once combined, whisk in one after the other: brown sugar, vanilla extract and egg. it is important to whisk in one by one to make sure all ingredients are combined well. set aside.
in another bowl, sift together all dry ingredients: baking powder, baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour. add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined. add the chocolate chips last and mix until well distributed in the dough. chill for 30 minutes before baking.
line a baking pan with a parchment paper. scoop dough with an ice cream scooper, and place in the baking pan 2-inches apart. cookie will increase in size during baking. bake cookies for 8 minutes. cookies will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. use a spatula to remove the cookies and make sure to let them cool first before removing from the pan.
